“I Am Divine,” a documentary about famed drag performer Divine, screens at the Black Cat (1811 14th St., N.W.) Saturday at 10 p.m.

The documentary chronicles the life of Baltimore native Harris Glenn Milstead, aka Divine, from his difficult childhood to gaining international recognition as a drag superstar. Interviews with John Waters, Ricki Lake, Jackie Beat and more give insight into Divine’s use of humor to recreate the notions of beauty, sexuality and gender identity.

Tickets are $10. Doors open at 9 p.m. For more details, visit blackcatdc.com.
