Neil Patrick Harris will star in ‘A Series of Unfortunate Events’
the ‘How I Met Your Mother’ actor is attached to the Netflix series
Neil Patrick Harris will play Count Olaf in the Netflix original series “A Series of Unfortunate Events.”
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Harris is in negotiations to take the lead role in the show based on the children’s book series “A Series of Unfortunate Events” by Daniel Handler who uses the pen name Lemony Snicket.
Mark Hudis was originally attached as the show-runner but has since left. A replacement has not yet been announced.
The series follows three rich, orphan children,Ā Violet, Klaus and Sunny Baudelaire, who are taken into the care of their uncle Count Olaf who tries to steal their family fortune under the guise of taking care of the children.
A movie version of the books was released in 2004 starring Jim Carrey as Count Olaf.
The 2024 New York City Pride Parade wound through the streets of Manhattan and past the historic Stonewall Inn on Sunday, June 30.

Senior living and healthcare organization holds fourth annual march at Falls Church campus
The senior living and healthcare organization Goodwin Living held its fourth annual community Pride march around its Bailey’s Crossroads campus in Falls Church, Va. with residents, friends and supporters on Tuesday, June 25. Following the march, a drag brunch was held with performances by drag artists of SADBrunch: Crimsyn, Sapphire Dupree and Evon Dior Michelle.
