‘Spa Night’ trailer explores gay identity as a Korean-American
a teen’s new job leads him to a sexual awakening

“Spa Night” is a gay Korean-American film that follows a young man whose new job becomes more than just a paycheck.
Joe Seo stars as a Korean-American teenager who struggles with his Korean identity and sexuality while living with his immigrant parents who own a small restaurant. He gets a job working at an all-male spa in Los Angeles’ Koreatown to help his parents financially. While working there he finds himself torn between two worlds and becoming immersed in his own sexual awakening. The film screened at Outfest and during the Sundance Film Festival. Andrew Ahn directs.
“Spa Night” is currently in limited release in New York City and Los Angeles.
The 2024 New York City Pride Parade wound through the streets of Manhattan and past the historic Stonewall Inn on Sunday, June 30.

The senior living and healthcare organization Goodwin Living held its fourth annual community Pride march around its Bailey’s Crossroads campus in Falls Church, Va. with residents, friends and supporters on Tuesday, June 25.
