Watch: Ricky Martin and William Hung perform ‘She Bangs’ duet

The former ‘American Idol’ hopeful became a household name in 2004

Published

William Hung and Ricky Martin performed on stage together during Martin’s final Las Vegas residency show for a duet years in the making.

Hung sang Martin’s 2000 hit “She Bangs” for his “American Idol” audition in 2004. While he didn’t make the cut, his loveable, yet off-key, audition earned him 15 minutes of fame. He recorded three studio albums and worked the talk-show circuit including appearances on “Ellen,” “Jimmy Kimmel” and “Jay Leno.”

He’s since retired from his singing career and is a motivational speaker. However, he took the mic again for a special performance with Martin.

Watch Hung and Martin finally unite on stage here.
