Friday Tea Time and social hour for older LGBTQ+ adults will be at 2 p.m. on Zoom. Feel free to bring your beverage of choice. For the Zoom link or more information, contact Justin ([email protected]).

Go Gay DC will host ā€œLGBTQ+ Speed Friendingā€ at 7 p.m. at Moxy. This is a social event where attendees are paired-up with strangers for multiple rounds of platonic conversations. There will be approximately 10 structured rounds (five minutes each) where participants will be randomly paired up with each other. For more details, visit Eventbrite.Ā 

Saturday, March 19

The DC Center for the LGBT Community will host ā€œBig Fat Gay Yard Saleā€ at 10 a.m. on the sidewalk in front of The DC Center at 2000 14th St., N.W. Guests are encouraged to come check out the centerā€™s racks of shirts, pants, dresses, skirts, suits, sneakers, shoes and all other kinds of apparel. LGBTQ People of Color Support Group will be at 1 p.m. on Zoom. This peer support group is an outlet for LGBTQ People of Color to come together and talk about anything affecting them in a space that strives to be safe and judgment free. Email [email protected] to receive the Zoom information.

ā€œThe 2022 Return: Litty in the Cityā€ Brunch and Day Party will be at 12 p.m. at Lost City. The day party offers bottle service on both floors, & hookah available on the rooftop. ā€œMIC CHECK with Gray West: Stand-Up Comedy & Drag Showā€ will be at 7 p.m. at DC Comedy Loft and Bier Baron Tavern. This event features 60 minutes of nonstop comedy and drag from the best LGBTQ+ comics and drag queens in DC. Tickets cost $15 and are available onĀ Eventbrite.

Center Aging Coffee Drop-In will be at 10 a.m. at the DC Center for the LGBT Community and online on Zoom. LGBT Older Adults ā€” and friends ā€” are invited to enjoy friendly conversations and to discuss any issues you might be dealing with. Genderqueer DC will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This is a support group on Zoom for people who identify outside of the gender binary. Whether youā€™re bigender, agender, genderfluid, or just not 100% cisgender. For more information, visit Genderqueer DCā€™s website orĀ Facebook page.Ā

Asexual and Aromantic Support Group will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This is a space where people who are questioning this aspect of their identity or those who identify as asexual and/or aromantic can come together, share stories and experiences, and discuss various topics. Job Club will be at 6 p.m. in-person at the DC Center for the LGBT Community and online on Zoom. The Job Club is a weekly job support program to help job entrants and seekers, including the long-term unemployed, improve self-confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job searches and networking ā€” allowing participants to move away from being merely ā€œapplicants.ā€

The DC Centerā€™s Food Pantry Program will be held all day at the DC Center for the LGBT Community. To be more fair with who is receiving boxes, the program is moving to a lottery system. People will be informed on Wednesday at 5:00 pm if they are picked to receive a produce box. No proof of residency or income is required. DC Anti-Violence Project Open Meeting will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. Anyone who is interested in learning more and getting involved in lessening violence both within and directed towards the LGBT communities is encouraged to attend. For more information email [email protected].Ā
