Go Gay DC will host āLGBTQ Game Dayā at 1 p.m. at The Board Room DC. The event offer plenty of games that can be rented for free, and guests are welcome to bring in their own games as well. This event is free and tickets can be accessed on Eventbrite.Ā

Go Gay DC will host āLGBTQ+ Coffee Shop Mixerā at 12 p.m. at As You Are. This event is a fun mixer where you can meet and mingle with about 30 LGBTQ+ folk in a spacious setting. Tickets are free and can be accessed on Eventbrite.
Baltimore Wedding Expo will be at 12:30 p.m. at Pier 5 Hotel in Baltimore. More than 30 select companies from all aspects of the wedding industry will be represented, including venues, officiants, photographers, DJs, caterers, jewelers and travel. Center Aging Coffee Drop-In will be at 10 a.m. at the DC Center for the LGBT Community and online on Zoom. Tuesday, May 17
BiRoundtable Discussion will be at 7 p.m. on Zoom. This event is an opportunity for people to gather in order to discuss issues related to bisexuality or as bi individuals in a private setting. Visit the groupās Facebook or Meetup for more information.
Little SMYALs: Creative Kids will be at 5:30 p.m. at 410 7th St., S.E. This event, geared toward children between the ages of six and nine, will incorporate arts, crafts, songs, games, and unstructured play time in an affirming environment. The Job Club is a weekly job support program to help job entrants and seekers, including the long-term unemployed, improve self-confidence, motivation, resilience and productivity for effective job searches and networking ā allowing participants to move away from being merely āapplicants.ā

āEric Orner: Smahtguyā will be at 7 p.m. at Solid State Books. Orner will be discussing his new book, āSmahtguy: The Life and Times of Barney Frank,ā a biography of Barney Frank, one of the first gay and out congressmen and a front-line defender of civil rights. The DC Centerās Food Pantry Program will be held all day at the DC Center for the LGBT Community. To be fair with who is receiving boxes, the program is moving to a lottery system.
