āQueer Indie Author & Vendor Marketā will be at 2 p.m. at Atlas Brew Works Ivy City Brewery & Taproom. This is a day filled with queer stories, art, creativity, diversity, and inclusivity. AfroCode DC will be at 4 p.m. at Decades DC. This event will be an experience of non-stop music, dancing, and good vibes and a crossover of genres and a fusion of cultures. Tickets cost $40 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.Ā

Pride on the Patio Events will host āLGBTQ Social Mixerā at 5:30 p.m. at Showroom. Dress is casual, fancy, or comfortable. Guests are encouraged to bring their most authentic self to chat, laugh, and get a little crazy. Admission is free and more details are on Eventbrite.
āThe Ultimate Queer Game Showā will be at 7:50 p.m. at DC Arts Center. The Ultimate Queer Game Show is a comedy show hosted by The Carmichaels (comedians Krystal & Samiyyah Ali) that will pit two teams competing for the Queer Championships. Job Club will be at 6:00p.m. on Zoom. Off the Mall Tours will host āCelebrate LGBTQ History Month Queer Black Broadway Walking Tourā at 6:30 p.m. at the Howard Theater. This 1.5 hour walking tour begins at Howard Theater and ends at Thurst Lounge, 2204 14th St., which is D.C.ās only queer Black-owned bar. A portion of proceeds go to benefit the Rainbow History Project. Tickets cost $30 and can be purchased on Eventbrite.Ā

Celebrate Trans Day of Vision in D.C.
Potluck picnic and rally to be held at Malcolm X Park

The DC Center for the LGBT Community will celebrate Trans Day of Vision with a potluck picnic and rally on Sunday, March 30 at 1 p.m. at Malcolm X Park.
At this event, attendees will gather in community and solidarity and share their vision and what liberation means to them as the D.C. queer community loudly proclaims that visibility and polite requests for acceptance are not enough.

DC Center to host ‘Support Group Facilitator Training’

The DC Center for the LGBT Community will host a āSupport Group Facilitator Trainingā on Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. on Zoom.
This training will provide information required for becoming a Support Group Facilitator at the DC Center. The training will also provide support for concerns from current facilitators as well as provide an opportunity to discuss ethics and best practices. Group leaders and facilitators that operate support groups within the DC Center are encouraged to come to learn, share challenges, and solutions.
