The Servicemembers Legal Defense Network held a celebration at the K Street Lounge on Sept. 20 — the day that the repeal of the military’s ‘Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell’ policy went into effect. Attendees included Office of Personnel Management Director John Berry, Sen. Chris Coons (D-Del.), Sen. Carl Levin (D-Mich.), House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.), Rep. Steny Hoyer (D-Md.) and Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wis.).
