B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions holds carnival-themed event
B.O.I. Marketing & Promotions held the carnival-themed 2012 Capital Queer Prom on Saturday, March 24 at the Almas Shriners Ballroom in Washington, D.C. Stephanie Johnson of the D.C. Kings and the Deaf Abused Women’s Network was voted prom queen and Mark Guenther of the Capital Area Gay & Lesbian Chamber of Commerce was voted prom king. Proceeds from the event were slated to go to Transgender Health Empowerment.

The umbrella LGBTQ sports organization Team DC held a holiday party at Trade on Monday, Dec. 8. Attendees brought clothes and coats for a clothing drive.
